Оболочка здания (стены, пол, окна, крыша) является очень важным элементом конструкции, так как она может влиять на энергетические характеристики здания, то есть комфортные условия круглый год могут быть достигнуты при разумном уровне изоляции, уменьшении теплового моста, затенении в летнее время и вентиляции. Таким образом, в зависимости от свойств тепловой зоны, в которой мы находимся, можно интегрировать ПКМ и оптимизировать их параметры, чтобы выгодно развести пики потребления энергии и энергопотребления и, тем самым, значительно снизить использование системы HC. Следовательно, интеграция этого ПКМ в оболочки новых зданий или при реконструкции будет способствовать снижению расходов на электроэнергию в строительном секторе Марокко. Таким образом, ПКМ представляет собой устойчивую альтернативу для снижения энергопотребления, для чего было проведено термодинамическое моделирование с помощью TRNSYS 204. Так как ПКМ включает в себя большое скрытое тепло при небольших изменениях температуры фазы, ПКМ используется для стабилизации температуры и для хранения тепла с большой плотностью энергии и мощностью хранения в сочетании с довольно небольшими изменениями температуры.
