Murder, assassination, corruption and venality are their hallmarks. Autistic characteristics can also occur in saintly characters like Mahatma Gandhi. His personality had autistic features. His personal life was ritualistic and rigid. He followed the doctrine of non-violence during the struggle of Independence. But the difficulty in social communication and understanding of the opposition mind due to the autistic features of his personality may have contributed to the difficulty in the talks leading to the partition of India. He could not visualize the mind of the Muslim minority due to the autistic nature of the brain.
