L’infection génitale à HPV est reconnue comme une des plus fréquentes, sinon la plus fréquente, des infections transmissibles sexuellement.Nous avons réalisé une étude transversale entre mai et octobre 2018. Elle s’est intéressée à 100 femmes vivant avec le VIH, suivies dans notre centre IST/VIH/SIDA. Le but de ce travail était de déterminer la prévalence du HPV et les génotypes circulants, ainsi que les facteurs de risque qui influent sur la coïnfection HPV –VIH. La prévalence globale de l’infection HPV a été estimée à 32%. Il s’agit dans 100 % des cas des HPV à haut risque (HPVHR). Nous avons trouvé une grande diversité de génotypes HPVHR, les plus communs individuellement étaient les HPV52, 16 et 18 et le HPV58. La prévalence la plus élevée a été trouvée dans les groupes de génotype 52, 25 %. Les HPV16 et 18 étaient moins fréquents (15,6 %). Nous avions autant d’infections uniques que multiples. Quand elles sont multiples on peut y retrouver l’association de 2 jusqu’à 7 HPV. 100% des infections uniques sont dues un HPVHR.
