Le paludisme est une maladie parasitaire, une érythrocytopathie fébrile et hémolysante due au développement et à la multiplication chez l’homme d’hématozoaires du genre Plasmodium. L’objectif de ce présent travail était d’évaluer la prise en charge du paludisme dans la population de Mékin-Sikoro en 2021. Il s’agissait d’une étude transversale sur le profil épidémiologique du paludisme à Mékin-Sikoro en commune I du district de Bamako. Notre étude, portant sur les registres de consultation et du laboratoire de 2021 et une enquête par interview de 234 personnes tout âge confondu, sera réalisée en octobre 2022. Au terme de cette étude, nous avons observé une fréquence du paludisme de 51,5% chez les patients du CSCOM. Cette fréquence variait d’une saison à une autre avec le maximum de cas durant l’hivernage 58,2%. Les enfants de 6 à 15 ans souffraient plus de paludisme 57,4%. Les signes cliniques les plus fréquents étaient la fièvre %, les céphalées %, les vomissements % et les frissons %. Le paludisme simple était le phénotype le plus fréquent 99,5% contre moins d’1% de paludisme grave. Les antipaludiques injectables étaient cependant les plus prescrits 73,1%.
