Die Studie wurde in der Stadt Encarnación durchgeführt, speziell in höheren Bildungseinrichtungen (Universitäten). Ziel war es, "die Prozesse der Bildungsintegration von Menschen mit Hör-, Körper- und Sehbehinderungen in der Hochschulbildung zu analysieren". Es ist wichtig, dass jedes Bildungsmodell, und in diesem Fall das Universitätsmodell, seine Qualität auf den entwickelten Inhalten und den vorgeschlagenen Lernaktivitäten aufbaut. Bildung ist ein Grundrecht, die Grundlage jeder Gesellschaft, um die Demokratie zu festigen. Das Recht von Menschen mit Behinderungen auf Bildung ist in den nationalen Gesetzen verankert, und ebenso wichtig ist es, eine Kultur des Respekts vor der Vielfalt und der Anerkennung der Studierenden als Subjekte zu fördern, in der die gesamte Gemeinschaft unter diesen Prämissen interagiert, denn nur so wird es möglich sein, Veränderungen in der Einstellung der Mitglieder der Gemeinschaft mit dem Engagement und der Verantwortung für die Eingliederung der behinderten Bevölkerung in die Universität zu erreichen.
