The main question around which this research revolves is the following: How can a diversity of human beings, living in a common geographical space, survive the conflicts caused by their permanent differences, and maintain a climate of peace and happiness for all? This is a pressing question in Africa in general, and in the Democratic Republic of Congo in particular. In the D.R. Congo, for example, there are more or less 450 different ethnic groups living together on the same territory, who have formed a single nation. The members of these ethnic groups speak more or less 450 different languages. They live in different villages, and most villages are multi-ethnic. They have different customs, habits, value systems and aspirations. They adhere to sometimes antagonistic moral, philosophical, political or religious doctrines.
