Le présent article est la première tentative d'une recherche complexe sur les particularités de la mise en scène dans les théâtres russes de Moldavie à la fin du 20e siècle et au début du 21e siècle. Sur les exemples de productions du Théâtre dramatique d'État russe portant le nom de A.P. Tchekhov, du Théâtre dramatique et comique d'État de Transnistrie portant le nom de N.S. Aronets, du Théâtre d'État de la jeunesse de la République de Moldavie et du Théâtre dramatique russe de la République de Moldavie. À partir des exemples de productions du Théâtre dramatique d'État N.S. Aronetskaya et du Théâtre dramatique d'État pour la jeunesse "De la rue des roses", l'auteur étudie la méthodologie individuelle de mise en scène, les problèmes et la stylistique des maîtres des théâtres, analyse l'état de la mise en scène et révèle ses caractéristiques spécifiques, et définit le rôle et la place des théâtres russes dans le développement de la culture théâtrale moldave. L'ouvrage introduit dans l'usage scientifique une vaste étude de sources et de matériel textuel jusqu'alors inconnus, ainsi que des informations obtenues par des entretiens.
