A Fundação para a Salvaguarda do Fundo do Mar foi criada em 2014 a fim de aumentar a sensibilização para o desaparecimento programado da fauna e flora dos mares e oceanos. O perigo é real, a mutação genética da fauna e da flora continua a ser uma tragédia actual. De facto, se não mudarmos os nossos estilos de vida, o nosso ambiente diário pode desaparecer. Este livro é um grito de alarme e também um grito de esperança. No entanto, podemos mudar estes hábitos, porque em frente às lixeiras, sejam elas de plástico, químicas, nucleares ou outras, o habitat do fundo marinho está em grande perigo. Como podemos mudar estes hábitos? Porque não criar uma nova forma de arte com todo este desperdício, a fim de a encenar em quadros, esculturas ou outras criações e exibi-la ao público, para que possa ser reciclada no campo artístico? Desta forma, no futuro, será possível proteger os nossos mares e oceanos da presença destes resíduos e assim evitar a sua descarga nas águas do nosso planeta.
