The controversy of bullying was a well-known phenomenon as an undesirable behavior in schools. Later, this phenomenon was examined within the work environment. Even though workplace bullying has been examined in different contexts, there can be seen a limited research attention in academia. Workplace bullying as one of mistreatments in academia has widely spread with changing demands in the work environment and there are many adverse effects (i.c., individual level, group level, organizational level, social level). Hence, it is really essential to explore the existence of workplace bullying among university academics. Accordingly, this book investigates how job demands in the higher education influence over exposure to workplace bullying among university academics in Sri Lanka.
