The story of the Àwórì nation would always be inexhaustible because their history goes far back into the early ages when the art of writing had not been invented by the progenitors of this unique people. What may have been the full history of this Yòrùbá speaking ethnic group may have been buried deep down in the earth. Only a comprehensive excavation of certain sensitive locations in Òtà, for a forensic study of the way of life of the people, would yield the true result of what past they had buried underground. It is hoped that at a time not too long from now, an attempt to dig into the archeological past of the wonderful people of Òtà Àwórì Kingdom would be commissioned for archeologists to unravel. Through such, it would become possible to unearth their past, just like an archaeologist who recently discovered while digging the ground to lay a new foundation for the present St. James Church where a deeply buried clay pot was discovered. It was full of metal money coins.
