Ce travail est consacré à la caractérisation de quelques semi-conducteurs de type oxydes métalliques à savoir : AgMnO2, CuLaO2 et WO3 ainsi que de leur application dans la production photo-catalytique de l'hydrogène et la dégradation de polluants organiques. Le présent travail aborde la synthèse, ainsi que les propriétés physiques et photoélectrochimiques de AgMnO2 préparé par réaction d'échange entre LiMnO2 et AgNO3.Nous avons étudié aussi, dans le même contexte, le composé CuLaO2 d'un point de vue physico-chimique afin d'être appliqué à la production de l'hydrogène par photoactivation sous lumière visible. Cette dernière permet de déterminer le pouvoir photoréducteur d'un composé.Notre travail a pour intérêt, l'étude du dopage de WO3 par le cuivre en utilisant deux méthodes de synthèse (Sol-Gel et Imprégnation). Un ensemble de propriétés physico-chimiques sont étudiées afin d'être corrélées au pouvoir photo-oxydant des oxydes préparés.
