The pulp and paper industry of Russia generates most of the profit received by the timber industry, a significant percentage of sales and exports, accumulates the largest funds and carries out the most large-scale investment programs. As a result, a concept of competitiveness of the Russian pulp and paper industry will be formulated, on the basis of which an adequate development strategy for the industry can be built.
