LAP Lambert Academic Publishing Business strategy for processing plant of Pangasius catfish: A case study for Hung Vuong - Vinh Long Co., Ltd., Vietnam

Among countries exporting seafood over the world, Vietnam is considered as the one possessing competitive advantages based on rich resources such as large fresh water surface, suitable climate conditions for aquaculture growth. Hung Vuong-Vinh Long Company belonged to Hung Vuong Corporation and specialized in farming, processing and exporting Pangasius fillet catfish is a strong brand-name and reputation in the international markets. Selecting the appropriate business strategy becomes a very important decision for Hung Vuong- Vinh Long Company to increase their competitiveness, achieve their long-term goals in the competition that already exists in Pangasius catfish export industry. In this study “Business strategy for processing plant of Pangasius catfish: A case study for Hung Vuong – Vinh Long Co., Ltd., Vietnam”, the author analyzed and recommended the prior business strategy for the Company by applying Quantitative Strategies Planning Matrix (QSPM).
