L'objectif de cet ouvrage est de contribuer à l’optimisation de la gestion des flux par l'amélioration des prévisions et la minimisation de l’incertitude sur la demande. Tous les acteurs concernés par l'application des prévisions ou par le processus de prise de décision connaissent l'importance de choisir la technique de prévision la plus appropriée. Dans cet ouvrage nous proposons des modèles de prévisions en se basant sur l’apport de l’intelligence artificielle dans ce domaine. Les réseaux de neurones artificiels RNA sont les outils de l'IA largement utilisés pour modéliser des séries temporelles dépendantes et indépendantes. Ces méthodes de prévision basées sur les RNA prouvent leur efficacité pour surmonter les cas où les données sur la demande sont limitées, ou en présence d'une variabilité marquée des informations.
