A temática da leitura está presente em diversos materiais de pesquisa de cunho pedagógico, todavia, o estado da arte demonstra que muito pouco das pesquisas ligadas à área da leitura enfatizam a biblioteca escolar, o espaço que acolhe leitores e livros. O que acontece é como se a leitura estivesse desvinculada da biblioteca escolar, sendo uma ação e um espaço que não trocam ideias e oportunidades de aprendizagem. A presente pesquisa "Da (con)vivência na biblioteca para um romance eterno com os livros" questiona como a vivência no espaço da biblioteca se integra na proposta pedagógica da escola e contribui para a conquista de leitores para a vida toda, analisando teóricos que contextualizam a literatura e, também, a biblioteca e sua multiplicidade nas vivências escolares. A partir de pesquisa qualitativa, este estudo conheceu cinco bibliotecas da região Sul do país e interage com seu público, assim como com as bibliotecárias, docentes e coordenadoras pedagógicas, que ilustram a pesquisa teórica, construindo reflexões para que novos olhares sejam dados a este espaço.
