Passa poi in rassegna i gradi catecumenali e le tematiche ad essi connesse nelle antiche testimonianze, nel pensiero del Magistero e secondo il nuovo Rito della iniziazione cristiana degli adulti. Successivamente, l'Autore affronta l'analisi del Rito del battesimo dei bambini e ne espone la ricca teologia, a partire dai segni liturgici. Infine, viene studiato il sacramento della Confermazione nel suo sviluppo storico, nell'attuale Rito e nella teologia che ne scaturisce. About the Author Francesco Polliani si è licenziato in Teologia a Friburgo (CH) e in Liturgia presso l'Anselmianum di Roma. Insegna Liturgia e Teologia sacramentaria. Ha pubblicato il Salterio (Velar, Gorle-BG 1986). Recentemente, presso le Ediz. Sant'Antonio, parecchi suoi studi: La Liturgia cristiana (2017), L'Anno liturgico (2018) e la Liturgia delle Ore (2018).
