Als eine der wichtigsten Komponenten von Brennstoffzellen ist das Edelmetall Pt ein hocheffizienter Elektrokatalysator, der einen großen Einfluss auf anodische Reaktionen in Brennstoffzellen hat. Aufgrund der geringen natürlichen Reserven und des exorbitanten Preises des Edelmetalls Pt schränken diese Engpässe jedoch die praktische Entwicklung von Brennstoffzellen immer noch ein. Durch die Dotierung einiger kostengünstiger Metalle (z. B. Fe, Ni usw.) zur Herstellung von Katalysatoren auf Pt-Basis kann daher nicht nur die Nutzung von Edelmetallen verbessert, sondern auch die katalytische Leistung durch Legierungs- und Synergieeffekte gesteigert werden. Faktoren wie die oberflächliche Zusammensetzung und die Struktur der erhaltenen Katalysatoren sind für die katalytische Leistung von großer Bedeutung. Darunter befinden sich eindimensionale Materialien auf Pt-Basis mit relativ stabilem Aufbau und guter Elektronenleitfähigkeit, die das katalytische Verhalten erheblich verbessern könnten. In Anbetracht dessen würde eine effektive Entwicklung und Anpassung der Oberflächenstruktur von Pt-basierten Materialien, einschließlich der Netzwerk- oder Kern-Schale-Konstruktion, die katalytischen Eigenschaften aufgrund größerer oberflächlicher aktiver Bereiche und mehr reaktiver Stellen verbessern.
