Construcción de Performatividades de Género y Regulación del Cuerpo en la Formación Universitaria de Abogados y Abogadas es una etnografía educativa y de género que busca analizar, primero, cuáles son los mecanismos a través de los cuales se construyen performatividades de género dominantes en la formación universitaria de abogados y abogadas, y de qué manera se relacionan con el modelo normativo de masculinidad y feminidad que se manejan en la sociedad actual. Segundo, procura analizar cómo se construyen performatividades de género que se resisten al modelo normativo generando la visibilización de otro tipo de performatividades posibles. Este libro gira en torno a la problematización de las relaciones desiguales entre género dentro de la dinámica social, enfocando la reflexión en la formación de abogados y abogadas, y la influencia que la normalización de la desigualdad y la violencia de género tienen sobre el proceso formativo de estudiantes de la carrera, así como la relación de esta normalización con el discurso homogeneizador propio del liberalismo.
