Information professionals should possess a positive attitude towards IT so that libraries may prosper like other departments. Library professionals should be computer literate as it is the most needed competency of the present age. IT infrastructure should be available in the libraries. Library practitioners should have proper training to make a fruitful usage of information technologies. Sufficient budget should be allocated to avail technology in libraries. A competent team should be appointed in libraries for accomplishing IT-based projects without any delay. The government should give priority to the libraries by providing sufficient budget.
