Aerobic means “in presence of oxygen”, and it is energy generating process or metabolic process of body in which oxygen is utilized.“Aerobics” is a particular form of aerobic exercise. These exercises involve the whole body to perform the movements like fast stepping on the beats of the music. Obesity and overweight constitute two of the most significant medical and health problems in the world today. The effects appear to be as much psychological as physiological. Thus author made an attempt to find out the effect of yoga and aerobics on obesity of girls.
