Esta pesquisa busca investigar a ação docente do professor dos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental, que atua em oficinas pedagógicas de Arte, em escolas municipais de jornada ampliada na perspectiva de educação integral na cidade de Londrina-PR. O objeto de estudo foi o professor e sua ação docente. O método utilizado foi o dialético. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa e quantitativa, na qual foi aplicado um questionário aberto e fechado a esses professores. A pesquisa investigou se houve mudanças na ação docente desse professor de oficinas de Arte, quais foram as mudanças, os pontos positivos, os pontos negativos, e buscou saber se o Programa Mais Educação e outras ações – como a formação continuada e a troca de experiências – contribuíram na melhora da ação docente desse professor. A metodologia utilizada nos cursos de formação continuada a esses professores foi a Proposta Triangular de Ana Mae Barbosa (1991), que articula três campos conceituais da arte: o fazer artístico, a apreciação estética e a contextualização histórica.
