Spike Lee es el hijo negro de New York, asì como lo son Scorssesse y Woody Allen con sus respectivos orìgenes. Haz lo correcto, distribuida por Universal Pictures, es un filme de denuncia, que muestra como si fuera una puesta de teatro, la problemática de una sociedad newyorkina afroamericana que coexiste con lo multiracial, con las ineficientes polìticas migratorias, con la desatenciòn de los programas sociales, la represiòn policial y la economìa neoliberal en la que las vìctimas siempre son los màs pobres. Sin embargo, todo llega a cansar y las consecuencias son lamentables.
