When we blend the ideas of Agile Scrum, Andragogy, LEAN, and several learning theorists, we end up with a method for educating that is rapid, efficient, and effective. Scrum has been used in industry for years and has proven itself as a method for rapid learning and meaningful, iterative value creation. Andragogy has been a change in basic assumptions about traditional pedagogical methods. Consequently, this book is targeted more at advanced learners by leveraging andragogical principles. However, these principles can be pushed down to lower levels to the extent applicable. LEAN includes principles that target and eliminate waste. Lastly, learning theorists have informed the educational process with theory and practice. The methods used by several theorists have been blended into this content. To frame this method of educating in a practical context, the author has used a sample class as a case. The structure of the case class has been detailed, as have the imposed principles. The reader, as they apply these principles, can take described structural aspects of the class and apply them in their own context.
