Supercritical extraction using liquid carbon dioxide was found to be the one stop solution for addressing environmental challenges in low cost. Fluid state carbon dioxide held at or above its critical temperature and critical pressure, is known as supercritical carbon dioxide. With the development in science and technologies, supercritical extraction finds more application in various industries with updated techniques.
