Cancer is the leading cause of death in economically developed countries and the second leading cause of death in developing countries. In present study, aqueous extract, methanolic extract and isolated constituents were tested on various cancer cell lines like Hela, HEP- 3B, HCT- 15, HEp- 2 and the results were compared with the Vero cell line. Colchicine is taken as the reference standard.
