Le génocide est l'aboutissement d'une tragédie qui s'échafaude sur nombre de précurseurs tels que les stéréotypes, la déshumanisation des victimes, la banalisation du crime ainsi que la distorsion systématique des éléments historiques et culturels. La planification des tueries massives a pour objectif l'annihilation de toute notion d'altérité et d'empathie chez les bourreaux. Après les faits, les blessures traumatiques sont le lot quotidien des victimes et des bourreaux. Notre étudecherche à savoir dans quelle mesure les violences sexuelles sur les mineurs au Rwanda sont inhérentes à la déstructuration de la société et à la perte des normes liées au génocide des tutsi au Rwanda en 1994. Les résultats de notre étude, qui s'est beaucoup concentrée sur l'histoire d'un peuple pour aborder ensuite l'histoire et le vécu des cas étudiés, montrent un dysfonctionnement psychosocial lié aux conséquences de perte de repères familiaux, communautaires et sociaux. Les éléments culturels (chansons et danse rwandaises) ont facilité les groupes de parole et ont orienté l'approche thérapeutique. About the Author Est née à Kabgayi au Rwanda et est âgée de 54 ans. Elle habite à Butare/Rwanda. Elle a fait ses études à l'Université de Toulouse II Le Mirail en France. Elle travaille actuellement à L'Université Nationale du Rwanda, au département de Psychologie Clinique et aussi comme psychologue clinicienne au Centre Universitaire de Santé Mentale (CUNISAM).
