Dans le but de mieux comprendre les mécanismes de transferts d’amines catalysés par des métaux et la nature des espèces actives impliquées, nous avons synthétisé un complexe binucléaire à fer non hémique possédant un substrat interne de nature aromatique. La réactivité de ce complexe vis-à-vis d’un donneur d’amine se traduit par la formation de deux produits résultant d’une mono et d’une double amination aromatique. Par l’emploi de différentes techniques chimiques et spectroscopiques, l’ensemble du mécanisme de la réaction a été résolu. Des études de marquage isotopique couplées à la spectrométrie de masse et à une quantification des produits formés nous ont permis de mettre en évidence le passage par deux intermédiaires réactionnels, de nature FeIIIFeIV=NTs et FeIVFeIV=NTs-NHTs. La deuxième partie de ce manuscrit est dédiée à un complexe binucléaire à fer à valence mixte possédant une branche aniline. En présence de base, ce complexe subit une déprotonation du ligand aniline induisant une inversion de valence des ions métalliques. Cette réaction réversible est le premier cas d’inversion de valence induit par une réaction acido-basique.
