Cette étude littéraire est l'analyse du chevauchement du littéraire et du social à travers des configurations discursives des méandres de la démocratie pluraliste en Afrique Centrale. Cette analyse des médiations discursives de la dichotomie fiction-réalité se fait par le biais d'une lecture sociologique du roman africain des années 1990. A travers une esthétique de vraisemblance empruntée par le romancier dans la création d'un univers fictionnel dont les références onomastiques puisent à l'environnement socio-politique africain, le roman tend à véhiculer une idéologie sous l'aspect de témoignage, de dévoilement et de conscientisation. Partant, le discours de la fiction est perçu comme une réponse aux problèmes d'actualité. Dans cette optique, le romancier semblerait lié à sa société et, à travers elle son lectorat, par un contrat tacite d'informateur dont les instances dialogiques se revêtent d'historicité. Dans ce cas de figure, les questions génériques se posent où la réduction de l'écart de lisibilité entre la fiction et l'histoire fait du corpus un genre difficile à classer. Beaucoup de ses publications explorent les représentations littéraires et les théories de lecture. Formateur en pédagogie interactive, il s'intéresse également à la didactique des langues modernes.
