Scientists have been able to conduct their research with the help of the NASA's Messenger probe, which has given them some of the best insight into Mercury's composition. Basically, scientific experts have voiced out that it is the presence of two vastly different types of rock on the Mercury planet which have been of great importance for the scientific research. As a result, the MIT ( Massachusetts Institute of Technology) researchers have used their discovery to create an experiment that would point to a geographical process responsible for the disparity. In fact, the scientific analysts have recreated the rocks in a laboratory and exposed the two different rocks to a variety of temperatures and pressures. In-depth research have revealed that scientists have melted the samples of synthetic rock in a furnace, cranking the heat up and down to simulate geological processes that would cause crystals to form in the melt...
