Inchin aceasta carte tinerelor generatiuni, care vor sti prin ea, de unde vin, pentru ce s-au nascut sI unde se vor duce dupa moartea trupului lor. M-am hotarit sa dau la iveala acest tratat pentru ca cititorul sa-si potoleasca intrucatva setea de cu noastere, a marelor mistere care ne inconjoara. Stiu de pe acum ca cititorul, pe la o vreme, are sa se opreasca din cetitul lui sI iI va veni in minte intre barea: dar de unde stie autorul acestei cartI de aceste mistere ale universului? Intrebarea e fireasca si merita sa aiba un raspuns: prezenta lucrare nu este decat fructul comunicarilor spiritelor superioare, lumini ale spatiilor infinite, ce au fost date la cativa iubiti, frati ai lor de pe pamant. La aceste comunicari am adaugat si din ceea ce s-a scris pana acum. Prezenta lucrare, dar, este un manunchiu de cunostiinte adunate din diferiti autori, din afirmarile marilor lucizi spirituali, pe care I-a avut pamantul pana acum, dar mai ales din comunicarile ce le-am primit de la marile lumini ceresti. Desigur, cele ce vor fi descrise in acest tratat vor trece de intelegerea multimei. Numai sufletele mai evoluate le vor intelege, aprecia, sorbi cu nesatiu, pana la ultima pagina. Cei neajunsi la nivelul acestor destainuiri, vor zambi, socotindu-le ca fantezii, ca rataciri ale unor minti bolnave. Acestora le recomand cu insistenta sa inchida cartea, si sa nu-o mai citeasca, caci, in adevar, le turbura mintea sI mersul vietii lor. -Scarlat Demetrescu
