Consacrand deja o traditie in doctrina dreptului penal, Sintezele de Drept penal. Partea speciala ajung la editia 5 anul acesta, venind cu peste 2000 completari. Totodata, lucrarea cuprinde comentarii detaliate ale tuturor modificarilor aduse Codului penal de la editia precedenta si pana in mai 2024, jurisprudenta recenta relevanta (a instantelor, a Inaltei Curti de Casatie si Justitie si a Curtii Constitutionale) si noi trimiteri doctrinare nationale si internationale. In vederea intelegerii Codului penal, fiecare institutie este analizata printr-un comentariu aprofundat si clar, astfel incat informatia sa fie usor de asimilat. Lucrarea contine detaliile care fac diferenta in sustinerea examenelor de licenta, de admitere la Institutul National al Magistraturii, in magistratura sau avocatura, de promovare in functii de executie a magistratilor, de capacitate al magistratilor stagiari, respectiv definitivat al avocatilor stagiari si acopera atat examenele tip test-grila, cat si cele pentru proba scrisa de verificare a cunostintelor juridice. Lucrarea este scrisa de Mihail Udroiu, judecator si formator in cadrul Institutului National al Magistraturii la disciplinele drept penal si drept procesual penal si unul dintre membrii Comisiei de elaborare a proiectului Noului Cod penal.
