Description
Experience the 1990 debut album from Pale Saints on vinyl. This record, titled 'The Comforts of Madness', represents a landmark moment in music history. It blends elements of post-punk and the L.A. Paisley Underground scene with shoegaze influences to create a sound that is both wayward and concise. As described by The Sunday Times, this release serves as an indie manifesto, offering music that is simultaneously dissonant and beautiful. The band dynamic evolved following the addition of Meriel Barham, a founding member of Lush, who joined the original Leeds trio of Ian Masters, Graeme Naysmith, and Chris Cooper. This addition brought a new energy to the group during their formative years. Produced with the expertise of Hugh Jones, who has worked with artists like Echo & The Bunnymen, this vinyl edition is a must-have for collectors of classic indie and rock music. Add this essential 4AD release to your collection today.
