Shanghai city selected last summer historically important 64 old roads and declared that Shanghai will never widen these 64 roads, because they are the most intact and concentrated to reflect the history and culture of Shanghai. It was a local photographer, Lin Xiangqing who let us know this information. Then, on this occasion, we decided to start photo-archiving those roads and to publish them for each former concessions. This is the third volume that covers the following 8 roads that are found in the former International Settlement UK Concession... 1) Huqiu Road (South Suzhou Road - Beijing East Road) 2) Jiangxi Road (South Suzhou Road - Guangdong Road) 3) Hong Kong Road (Jiangxi Road - Yuanmingyuan Road) 4) Sichuan Road (Tiantong Road - Yan'an East Road) 5) Zhong Shan Dong Yi Lu Road(Wuchang Road - Yan'an East Road) 6) Yuanmingyuan Road (South Suzhou Road - Dianchi Road) 7) Dianchi Road (Sichuan Road - Zhongshan East Road) 8) Shaanxi North Road (Xinzha Road - Nanyang Road, Nanjing West Road - Weihai Road)
