40 years ago, with men's fantasies Klaus Theweleit's large investigation of the sexual, psychological and sociopolitical prehistory of National Socialism in the Weimar Republic appeared. The work, which is considered for many as the start of men's research in Germany, has long since become a classic of violence research. Given the return of right street terrors and fascist positions, which make many think of Weimar conditions, as well as propaganda campaigns against freer sexualities - keyword: "Gender delusion" - the analyses of the book are much too burning to put it on the shelf of the great works in the archive. In this new edition, complemented by a long afterword of the author, Theweleit's epochal work is now finally available and discussible, politically newly usable.
