Hauser & Wirth Publishers Frank Bowling: Landscape

This thoughtfully crafted, lavishly illustrated catalogue documents Frank Bowling’s 2023 exhibition ‘Landscape’ through vivid artwork reproductions, alongside studio shots and essay from academic Dorothy Price. This catalogue accompanies the exhibition 'Frank Bowling: Landscape' at Hauser & Wirth West Hollywood, presenting fourteen recent ebullient paintings that engage the rich art-historical tradition of landscape painting. The book is lavishly illustrated and includes foldouts of artwork details. The essay is from art historian Dorothy Price, Professor of Modern and Contemporary Art and Critical Race Art History at The Courtauld Institute of Art, London, and focuses on the dialogue between Bowling’s and Turner’s work.
