About the Author Prof. Dr. Georg Rechenauer studied Classical Philology, History, Philosophy and German in Munich. After visiting professorships in Saarbrücken and Mainz, he has been working at the Chair for Greek Philology at the University of Regensburg since 1998 He deals with ancient historiography and early Greek philosophy.Vassiliki Pothou is Lecturer of Classics and she has worked and teached at the Universities of Regensburg and Kiel.
