Dieser Band vereint Analysen der Entwicklungslinien im Verhaltnis von Landwirtschaft(srecht) zum Naturschutzrecht mit einer Bestandsaufnahme uber Produktionsstruktur und Stoffstrome. Es wird gezeigt, dass der Biodiversitatsschwund der Kulturlandschaften und das Insektensterben zwangslaufig eintreten. Die hohe Leistungsfahigkeit der industrialisierten heutigen Landwirtschaft in Deutschland geht zu Lasten der Biodiversitat der Acker und Wiesen, auf denen zu zwei Dritteln fur den Futtertrog produziert wird. Diese Fehlentwicklung ist nicht nur durch die Agrarsubventionen der EU, sondern auch mangels Steuerung durch nationales Recht eingetreten. Weder "gute fachliche Praxis" noch naturschutzrechtliche Eingriffsregelung vermogen diesen Trend ohne konkrete Betreiberpflichten der Landwirte zu stoppen. Das Artenschutzrecht erweist sich als Placebo. Regelungsmoglichkeiten in einem neu zu konzipierenden Landwirtschaftsrecht oder im Naturschutzrecht werden aufgezeigt. Mit Farbabbildungen.
