Description

Today cancer is the most deadly disease on our planet. It strikes young and old of all nations leaving tragic suffering and pain. The goal is to find a new hope for cancer patients and make use of natural resources to find a cure for this disease. Our study on two Egyptian desert plants which are Calligonum comosum and Acacia nilotica, revealed that they possess a strong antioxidant and cytotoxic activity, so further phytochemical investigation of both plants was carried out to specify their bioactive fractions and isolate the major compounds.
