Как происходит концептуализация окружающего мира в сознании индивида? Каковы уникальные особенности, присущие различным видам концептуализации опыта? Пытаясь дать свой ответ на эти и другие вопросы, центральные для когнитивной лингвистики, автор монографии рассматривает лингвистическое понятие концепт и исследует его структуру, выделяя особый, кластерный тип структуры концепта, который, по мнению автора, характерен для многих абстрактных концептов. В монографии описывается трех-этапное исследование концепта английской концептосферы PRIVACY, в ходе которого анализируются данные из лексикографических источников, данные, полученные экспериментальным путем от носителей языка, и исследуются случаи актуализации концепта PRIVACY в письменных и устных текстах. В результате выделяется кластер, структурирующий концепт PRIVACY, и особенности его актуализации. Монография представляет интерес для лингвистов, психолингвистов, а также переводчиков и юристов, специализирующихся на вопросах privacy law.
