Diplomarbeit, die am 01.03.2002 erfolgreich an einer Fachhochschule in Deutschland eingereicht wurde. Gang der Untersuchung: Zu Beginn der Arbeit erhält der Leser einen Einblick in den aktuellen Stand des Wissens auf den Gebieten Autismus und Therapeutisches Reiten. In Kapitel 2 wird zunächst das Krankheitsbild des Autismus definiert und sein klinisches Bild sowie die soziale Interaktion und Kommunikation autistischer Kinder beschrieben. Weiterhin steht die Frage im Mittelpunkt, warum das Pferd sich zum therapeutisch/pädagogischen Medium eignet und wie die eigentliche heilpädagogische Arbeit mit dem Pferd aussieht. Wie autistische Kinder von einer archaischen Botschaft zu einer ersten Kommunikation in der Therapie mit dem Pferd gelangen, wird am Ende des Kapitels erläutert. Kapitel 3 präsentiert die methodischen Grundlagen der Arbeit. Nach entwickelten Hypothesen werden die Methoden Fallstudie und teilnehmende Beobachtung im qualitativen Paradigma vorgestellt. Kapitel 4 stellt die Ergebnisse der qualitativen und quantitativen Analyse dar. Kapitel 5 stellt die Methoden und Ergebnisse der Arbeit in einen umfassenderen Kontext. Inhaltsverzeichnis: 1.
