Inhaltsangabe:Problemstellung: Private Banking ein Geschäftsfeld, das für Banken hohe Rentabilität bei geringem Risiko verspricht. In Verbindung mit den hohen Wachstumsraten, die für das Marktvolumen in diesem Segment prognostiziert werden, erscheinen die Aussichten mehr als erfolgversprechend. So ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass der Wettbewerb um die Gunst der vermögenden Privatkunden von Jahr zu Jahr zunimmt. Diese einseitige Sichtweise vernachlässigt jedoch die vielfältigen Veränderungen auf Seiten der Nachfrager und damit einhergehend für die Kreditinstitute. Die Kunden sind informierter, kritischer, preis- und auswahlbewußter und orientieren sich zunehmend mehr an der Rendite einer Anlage. Für die Banken bedeutet dies schon seit längerem eine Verschiebung von problemlosen, losgelöst von der Gesamtsituation des Kunden verwalteten Stand-alone-Depots zu integrierten, komplexen Betreuungsaufgaben. Diese neuen Anforderungen müssen auch für den Bereich der Immobilienanlagen gelten, in dem sie bisher nur unzureichend beachtet wurden. Vor allem bedarf es der Entwicklung und Umsetzung innovativer Ideen und Konzepte für ein ganzheitliches Immobilienmanagement der privaten Vermögensportfolios. Die vorliegende Arbeit gibt einen Überblick des Private Banking-Marktes und stellt grundlegende Ansätze für ein Private Real Estate Management vor. Private Banking als strategisches Geschäftsfeld für deutsche Großbanken hat in den letzten Jahren zunehmend an Bedeutung gewonnen. Die Unterschiede in den angebotenen Leistungen nehmen ständig ab, so dass eine Unterscheidung immer mehr in Richtung Servicequalität, persönliche Betreuung und Mehrwertschaffung durch die intellegente Bündelung von Dienstleistungen geht. Besonders in der Anlagekategorie Immobilien wurden diese Aspekte noch nicht berücksichtigt und verwirklicht.
