Cette étude ouvre le champ sur le récit de guerre, genre fécond, pourtant peu exploité par la critique littéraire africaine. Elle a montré comment des guerres civiles réelles et vécues sont mises sur la scène de la fiction romanesque. Ainsi, la présente recherche a permis de faire la lumière sur les diverses modalités de représentation d’un phénomène qui reste inséparable de l’existence des hommes. Entre autres faits représentés, elle s’est intéressée aux horreurs et aux atrocités qui escortent la prise des armes, ainsi qu’à l’image terrifiante des enfants-soldats projetés dans l’univers absurde de conflits armés. Pour ainsi dire, les romans de guerre qui ont servi de supports analytiques dans le cadre de cette étude, ont permis de voir de prêt, les causes, les conséquences, les idéologies qui sous-tendent ce phénomène, et les techniques variées de représentation de chaque auteur. Voici donc un ouvrage qui dresse le portrait littéraire de la guerre civile. About the Author Didier Anoh Brou est ivoirien. Enseignant-chercheur à l’université de Cocody-Abidjan, il titulaire d’un doctorat unique en Lettres Modernes. Consultant, conseiller littéraire, membre du Groupe d’Etude et de Recherche sur les Littératures Francophones de l’université de Cocody-Abidjan (GERLIF), il s’intéresse au récit de guerre.
