Die Qualität einer zahnärztlichen Krone hängt nicht nur von ihrer Ästhetik, ihrer Beständigkeit und der Biokompatibilität der verwendeten Gerüstmaterialien ab, sondern auch von der Passgenauigkeit. Eine mangelnde Abdichtung kann zur bakteriellen Invasion und daraus resultierenden Schädigung der Pulpa. Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht am Cerec3-CAD/CAM-System hergestellte Kronengerüste. Der marginale Randspalt, und der innere Zementspalt werden gemessen, um zu beurteilen, ob die erreichten Werte im klinisch tolerierbaren Bereich liegen. Zugleich wird ermittelt, wie die Präparation der okklusalen Fläche des Zahnes, unter Berücksichtigung der Zementspalteinstellung am Gerät, des verwendeten Befestigungszements, und zuletzt des Gerüstmaterials die Passgenauigkeit der Kronengerüste beeinflussen kann. Die Ergebnisse sollen dabei zeigen, wie genau das Cerec3-System arbeitet und inwiefern die Möglichkeiten, die das System anbietet, dem Zahnarzt ermöglichen, besser passende Restaurationen herzustellen.
