Product Description Increasing discountinuity, complexity and dynamic in the business environment amongst other things caused by globalisation of markets and accelerated changes in technology have lead to a growing importance of enterprise risk management. In the light of this developments and because of spectacular business breakdowns which have occured in the last years legislative and other executive bodies were forced to issue corresponding regulations in respect of enterprise risk management. Of course independent from the legal activities it´s obvious for good management to install and proceed a corresponding enterprise risk management. The present dissertation is analysing in a first step if COSO ERMF can be used as a guideline for implementing a state-of-the- art enterprise risk management. In a second step relevant legal regulations, standards, codicies and other sources of influence on enterprise risk management are analysed and reflected at the COSO ERMF in order to see if COSO ERMF covers all material demands. Finally a practical example of implementation of an enterprise risk management is presented.
