Die zunehmende Vielfalt von Produktvarianten erfordert flexible Fertigungstechniken, die trotz ihrer Komplexität eine wirtschaftliche Fertigung von Bauteilen möglich machen. Lasersintern gilt derzeit als ein relevantes Fertigungsverfahren, mit dem Funktionsprototypen sowie, in Abhängigkeit von den Anforderungen, auch (End-)Produkte im Bereich der Manufaktur und Kleinserien hergestellt werden. Aus Sicht der Produktentwicklung interessiert, wie lasergesinterte Kunststoffe gezielter in Serienanwendungen integriert werden können. Die Untersuchung zeigt das Leistungsvermögen von lasergesinterten Kunststoffbauteilen im Automobilbau im Hinblick auf die Oberflächenfunktionalität und die mechanischen Eigenschaften. Insbesondere wird das Verformungs- und Versagensverhalten bei Ermüdung beobachtet. About the Author Monika Blattmeier promovierte unter der Betreuung von Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Gerd Witt, Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Fertigungstechnik, sowie von Prof. Dr.-Ing. Johannes Wortberg, Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Konstruktionslehre und Kunststoffmaschinen an der Universität Duisburg-Essen. Die Dissertation entstand im Rahmen des Forschungsprogramms eines renommierten Automobilkonzerns.
