Auf der Basis verschiedener Erklärungselemente der Strategieforschung entwickelt Petra F. Pousttchi ein ganzheitliches Konzept der Intermodalität im Personenfernverkehr. Mithilfe des kompetenzorientierten strategischen Management werden reale Phänomene wie die Intermodalität von Bahn und Flugzeug eingeordnet, beschrieben und erklärt. Anschließend werden anhand des Projekts AlRail der Deutschen Bahn AG, der Deutschen Lufthansa AG und der Flughafen Frankfurt/Main AG die Win-All-Situation und die Kernkompetenzen der Partnerunternehmen analysiert und die Probleme aufzeigt. About the Author Dr. Petra F. Pousttchi promovierte bei Prof. Dr. Andreas Herrmann am Lehrstuhl für Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Marketing der Universität Mainz. Sie ist als Assistentin der Geschäftsleitung für den Bereich Marketing und Distribution bei der credit suisse in Frankfurt am Main tätig.
