At Marvel, he took care of the adventures of Spider-Man, which Larsen took over after Todd McFarlane, largely written by Spidey author legend David Michelinie. In the stories that Larsen has brought to life in his distinctive style, the action is capitalized - because with great power must come great responsibility and even greater opponents! Larsen drew several of the most famous, brutal duels between Spider-Man and Venom. In addition, Dr. Octopus brings the old gang back together and gathers Electro, Mysterio, Sandman, the Vulture and Hobgoblin as Sinister Six. But also super villain heavyweights such as Dr. Doom or Magneto go on the wall crawler. In addition, he meets Black Cat, Wolverine, the Punisher, Ghost Rider and Hulk. And after Peter Parker temporarily receives the cosmic powers of Captain Universe, the husband of Mary Jane even gives up his spider powers altogether... This collection volume contains all the stories from Amazing Spider-Man as well as Spider-Man, which Erik Larsen drew and partially even wrote from 1987. In addition, this band presents Larsen's return to Spidey's adventures after the millennium change, when the net head gets to do with the Spider-Slayer, while Peter and Eddie Brock both suffer great losses. The collection encompasses the influence both Erik Larsen and David Michelinie had on Spider-Man mythology. The bonus material includes reproduced original pages, covers, sketches and more.
