Amid rapid urbanization, digital transformation and global sustainability challenges, smart land use planning has become crucial for balancing economic development, ecological protection and social equity. This Special Issue, themed "Smart Land Use Planning", collates 12 cutting-edge research articles from around the globe, covering theoretical exploration, technical integration, regional cases and policy implications, aiming to present the latest progress and innovative practices for academics, planners and policy-makers.
