Der Aspekt, warum dieses Thema gewählt wurde, liegt zum einen an dem anknüpfenden Seminar, zum anderen wird sich in den Medien sehr wenig mit diesen drei Aspekten beschäftigt. Man hört die Begriffe Hooligan, Ultra und Kuttenfan sehr oft, doch kennt man den Ursprung dieser Gruppen nicht. Die meisten können nicht erklären, warum Fußball eine Massenkultur ist und wie der Fußball in der BRD und der DDR war und ob es überhaupt Unterschiede gegeben hat. Wie entwickelte sich die Fankultur im Fußball? Wie waren die Entwicklungsstufen der einzelnen Fanszenen? Gab es Unterschiede im geteilten Deutschland? Am Anfang der Arbeit werden die drei Aspekte Rassismus, Rechtsextremismus und Antisemitismus und warum genau der Fußball in Deutschland eine solche Massenkultur ist, erklärt. Im darauffolgenden werden die Ursprünge der Fangruppierungen erläutert. Woher stammen die Fanszenen überhaupt und welche waren die ersten, die sich schließlich in Deutschland etabliert haben? Hat sich das Gewaltpotential in den Jahren verschlimmert? Wie war die Ge-walt in der DDR und der BRD? Gab es Veränderungen im Fußball nach der Wende und in den 90er Jahren? Außerdem wird die Arbeit Erläuterungen über die Entwicklung der Ultras geben. Gab es nach dem Aufstieg der Fanszene der Ultras überhaupt noch Hooligans? Wie wird die Fußballgewalt eingedämmt? Wie reagierten Polizisten und Fanprojekte auf Fremdenhass? Das sind Leitfragen, die vor Beginn der Arbeit aufgestellt worden waren, um das Thema Rassismus, Antisemitismus und Rechtsextremismus im Stadion zu klären!
