Anschließend arbeitete er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Technischen Universität Hamburg TUHH und an der Fraunhofer-Einrichtung für Additive Produktionstechnologien IAPT, wo er zuletzt als Gruppenleiter für den Fachbereich ‚Polymer AM‘ tätig war.
